Ok, so I have decided to suspend my decision to give up on attempting to lose weight until December 11, 2008. I figure that before I completely throw in the towel, I should devote one month to actually focusing. This blog will thrillingly detail in a play-by-play, how this 38 year old gave it one last shot before accepting the fates and my stature.
So, without further ado.....
I informed my trainer, Ammo (of Ammo Athletics) today that I have suspended my decision. As you can imagine, he was relieved. In the current financial atmosphere, hearing a client claim to give up can't be music to a trainer's ears :)
While he is excited that I have decided to give it one more month, he is not thrilled by my approach. He would prefer I take one of those, you know, balanced, organic approaches. Nah. I have tried that in the past to no avail and with no sustainable results. I am winging it. Who knows, if it works, I may end up on Oprah.
So what have you opted for today - you ask?
So far:
1. Worked out for 55 min with trainer
2. One slice of whole grain toast with a lovely salmon, tofu, dill spread.
3. Venti skim latte (Starbucks), 4 Equals (definitely not Ammo approved)
Stay tuned....
